October Fiesta 2010
This year's Jefferson Park Neighbors annual community celebration was
titled "October Fiesta 2010" because, this time, all of the food was catered
by our Latina moms who cook in the traditional ways of their respective
countries. The event was also a follow up of the "Life Path 2010" event back
in February. So we had a multicultural youth conference as a means to get
the energy hooked up in a way to work together. Many of the pictures were
taken in the first alley we have designated as a "KID ZONE" for children to
play in safely. We even ended up doing a New Orleans style parade in the in
the alley and on 30th Street. Enjoy the variety of lush colors and sincere
happiness.
