Much of my approach to school counseling involves outreach to parents.  Sometimes one of my strategies is to introduce the importance of good eating.

I have had the good fortune of experiencing a few great cooks in my life, all of African descent, but from different cultural groups within the diaspora.  Kathleen Brown is one of them. Her knowledge of culinary art is phenomenal, however, she creates dishes from a variety of world cultures in order to keep a healthful lifestyle that brings color and a special zest to life.

Kathleen has been living in Los Angeles most of her adult life, but she comes from very traditional Jamaican roots. She knows how to take the most basic natural resources and combines them to bring about a heavenly experience. Her cooking defines the depth of her life's philosophy: "To live well, eat well."
